     The food is amazing!   Hilo in particular offers great fresh food daily, home grown by local farmers.  The Wednesday and Saturday Farmers Market has something for everyone!

     The Palace Theater in town offers great entertainment and if you are into acting you can be a part of it. 

     Hilo Town is developing very rapidly into a health, dance and fitness haven with many dance and music activities. 

      The whole Bayfront black sand beach offers paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, and picnicking. Only 5 miles away - catch great waves for surfing at Honolii. 

     Take classes at the community college or university if you think you can't find enough to do. 

     Many Scientists live in town so look into astronomy and marine interests.

     Truly tranquil and beautiful with minimal traffic and everything close by.    

     The rain helps keep the air fresh and clean and the environment green and lush.     

     The town is booming and alive with places to shop, dine and enjoy!
